Each year, SRUSD will share important facts about schools with parents, guardians, and the community at large. Early in the fall, we produce Fact Sheets that summarize key facts from the previous school year (the most recent year for which we have complete data). Later in the year, we produce longer reports that provide details about our students, teachers, facilities, financial resources, and educational programs.
The School Accountability Report Card is available in hard copy upon request at the school site.

Recent LCAP Previous Year's LCAP PlansWhy we created the plan:
The Santa Rita Union School District (SRUSD) has a rich history. Established in 1871, SRUSD has come a long way from the original two-room school. We have grown substantially along with our surrounding community, and today SRUSD operates six schools, providing a variety of educational, support and enrichment programs to over 3,600 students, their families, and the community at-large. We continue our ongoing commitment to develop the minds and hearts of our students. Additionally, consistent with the District’s Strategic Action Plan, we have recently taken active steps towards implementing a new facility modernization effort that aims to support safe, healthy, and attractive learning environments for our students.
What we are planning:
Given the age of our schools, SRUSD recently conducted a comprehensive school facility assessment which estimates about $190 million in modernization and repair costs over time. SRUSD recognizes the impossibility of funding all these repairs at once. However, executing a 5-year facilities plan that tackles the highest, most pressing priorities today is both critical and necessary. The plan can be viewed in the presentation below or downloaded via PDF for review.
How we hope to fund the plan:
SRUSD has held school site and public meetings to solicit public input regarding school improvements, and also conducted a community survey regarding a bond measure to fund facility needs. Based on the feedback and survey results, the Board of SRUSD decided to place Measure R, a $24.9 million bond measure, on the November 8, 2022 ballot for local voter consideration.
