Australia's Perpetual Equity Investment Co. Ltd. raised its final dividend for fiscal year ended June.
The company's board declared a fully franked final dividend of 3.30 Australian cents per share from 2.50 cents per share in the prior-year period. Together with an interim dividend of 3 cents per share, the company's total dividend for the fiscal year rose to 6.3 cents per share from 4.7 cents per share.
The final dividend will be paid Nov. 2 to shareholders on record of Oct. 19.
Perpetual Equity Investment also said it plans to raise capital under a prospectus that includes an entitlement offer for current shareholders of one new share for every four existing shares held at an issue price of A$1.12, to raise up to about A$71.24 million.
The capital-raising proposal also includes a shortfall order for eligible shareholders and the general public, as well as a general offer to raise up to A$30 million.
The entitlement offer will close Sept. 26, while the shortfall and general offers will close Sept. 28.
